Challenge:

Design an extensive facelift for 1960 steel frame strip shopping plaza.

Scope:

Redefine the building scale to make stores more identifiable, develop a pedestrian scale to make complex more walkable and inviting to shoppers.

Facilitate the communication between town officials and the developer in order to comply with town planning requirements.

Project resulted in win/win situation for town, tenants and developer. Increased pedestrian traffic has increased business for individual stores. Developer has been able to increase lease rates. Town has an attractive shopping complex that complies with planning statutes.

Testimonial:

"It has been my pleasure to work with Mark Burnes on the Falmouth Shopping Center project. I found Mark to be professionally competent and personally responsive in every respect. The firm surpassed our every expectation and I look forward to working with him again on future projects."
